Every wedding is a fiesta of sorts but when the theme is “fiesta” you know that the bride and groom want to party!
A & C thought about having their wedding at Whitebottom Farm in Etherow Country Park when they went to Moovin Festival there. Whitebottom Farm is more commonly known for their music festivals that take place there over the summer, so they are well equipped to host a fiesta barn wedding.
Wedding at Whitebottom Farm
Whitebottom Farm is a wonderful mix of beautiful countryside and a blank space in the barn that the couple could really make their own.
They were married by in the top field under a beautiful summer sky before heading back down to the barn (a chair in hand helping to add to the DIY theme.)
A & C wanted a fiesta theme for their DIY barn wedding. They decorated the barn with all of the colours of the rainbow to really make the wedding have a party vibe. We set up our temporary “kitchen” in the adjoining barn in a catering marquee so it would be easy to serve from and close for our waiting staff to deliver to tables.
Each of the tables were decorated with so many colourful amazing flower arrangements and they had thought of all of the little touches, including colourful glassware to add the extra special feel to the tables.
They wanted a relaxed dining experience with sharing plates. The food was served as a continuous feast, so no “courses”, just plates of delicious, colourful food, a perfect match for a colourful wedding.

Pea and Mint Croquettes
Houmous
Guacamole
Flat breads
12 hour Braised Lamb with Root Vegetables & Mint & Pistachio Gremolata
Butternut Squash & Pepper Pie
Green Bean, Mangetout & Hazelnut Salad
Potato Salad with Parsley & Lemon
They then arranged their own desserts to laid out on a dessert table, so guests could help themselves throughout the course of the evening when they could party the night away.
