As I have stated in some of my earlier blogs, “blogging” is a whole new terrain for me and something that does not come natural, and, as such, I have been pretty silent on the blog front for a while.

This is partly to do with trying to get my head around the Twittersphere (which you can find a link to here) , meeting new members of my family, eating my way around South Manchester and being too busy cooking (and eating!) delicious things to get round to writing about them.

I have been taste testing pies for an up coming job…test test pie

Whipping up quick lunch time soups….soup

Meeting the new family arrival, my brother even made these amazing éclairs to celebrate!eclairs

Eating amazing food at Font Bar in Chorlton. So cheap too and serves food until 10pm. This Lamb Henry was on £8!font food

Taste testing the wonderful bakery and cafe at Trove in Levenshulme. Chorizo hash served with smoked beans and poached egg on top of their amazing home baked sour dough.

There is also a wonderful antiques market across the road for your perusal when you are finished eating.Trove breakfast

And drinking wonderful coffee at the new Mono Bar in Chorlton. (Backgammon not supplied)Mono coffee

Now get out and support your local businesses!
