Kale.. Oh wonderful Kale. I think I might be a little in love with it. Like spinach, broccoli and cabbage you just feel so good eating it. It is so delicious and versatile. Don’t be scared of it, add it to everything…

  • You can steam it
  • You can boil it
  • You can braise it
  • You can stir fry it
  • Stir it into stews
  • It is great with eggs and chilli flakes
  • Fry it up with a little bacon
  • You can have it in warm salads with walnuts and goats cheese
  • Eat it curled around spaghetti

Any way you eat it you will be doing yourself so much good with this SUPER FOOD. It is low in calorie, high in fibre and zero fat. It is high in iron, vitamin C, vitamin A and vitamin K. It is anti inflammatory, high in calcium and is a great detox food. I could go on.

Last week was a first for me, I found RED KALE. This made me very excited. Of course I had to buy some to taste test.
